General requirements

You need at least:

• One (1) shareholder and director that is over 18 years old;
• One (1) legal secretary that is a Hong Kong permanent resident or Hong Kong registered company; and
• One (1) registered address in Hong Kong.

Required documents

The following documents need to be submitted:

• Incorporation Form (Form NNC1 for company limited by shares);
• The Company’s Articles of Association (copy);
• Notice to Business Registration Office (IRBR1).

Required Information

• Chinese and/or English name of the company;
• Copies of ID cards or passports of shareholders and directors; and
• Registered address of the company (we can provide one for you).

Application processing time

• E-filing incorporation – max 1 day;
• Registration of a new limited liability business with company register – 5-7 working days;
• Purchasing a Shelf Company – 7 working days.
